Arizona 2 California

The plan: George and myself will meet the rest of the guys at Vandenberg AFB, CA. Tino will be driving from Edwards AFB, CA to Vandenberg AFB with the trailer. Bikes were loaded and off to Arizona we went. Trip went pretty smoothe. George and I switched off driving duties--man Gas is expensive in Cali. Once at Vandenberg we went straight to the Base Golf course and played a round of Golf with Tino. From there we went straight to Jocko's Steak House in Nipomo Ca... You see that steak there, no that is not a roast. One is a 35 ounce Filet Mignon! The other is a 35 ounce Spencer---yes, this is the place I always talk about! Spent about $30 on the steak and had enough for breakfast in the morning :) Spent the night at Allan's house in Lompoc, left first thing on Wednesday for our trek to Laguna Seca in Monterey. The trip party consisted of myself, George, Tino, Mike and Allan (who would join us a day later). We didn't take that many pictures of the drive up there--just the Laguna Seca Entrance. From there we stayed at the Presidio of Monterey (Mil installation) that was right in the heart of downtown Monterey. A wonderful trip...
